Check how much you can withdraw through UPI on these betting sites.
While UPI is enabled on many payment apps and wallets, some of the most popular apps to use for UPI are BHIM, Google Pay, Paytm, and PhonePe.

However, as per our experience, most betting sites require a minimum deposit of around ₹500. Of course, this is a betting site-specific requirement, since UPI does not require any minimum deposit amount!
Yes, absolutely!
UPI or Unified Payments Interface was designed to allow instant bank to bank transfers using mobile apps. UPI is also regulated by the Reserve Bank of India, making it one of the safest and simplest payment methods in India.
Thus, using UPI to deposit on betting sites is completely safe! But you must make sure that you choose a betting site that's tried and tested and declared safe to use by experts.
UPI was created with the intent to allow instant money transfer from one's bank account to another. That's why when you deposit money using UPI, the money should be deposited instantly!
However, some betting sites use intermediary UPI accounts, which can mean that they need time to validate the payment made. That's why you can expect to wait a couple of hours for the money to reflect in your betting site account!

The best UPI apps to use
There are many apps through which you can make UPI payments. At the first glance, having so many options can be confusing. So we decided to make things easier for you and shortlist some of the best UPI apps you can download.
These apps are the most widely used in India and enable really quick and easy transfer of funds!
Best UPI Apps to Use
- 👉🏽 Paytm UPI
Paytm is one of the most widely used e-wallets in India. While Paytm allows users to store money in their Paytm wallet as well, direct UPI payments from your bank accounts can now be done on Paytm as well!
Paytm UPI is fast and seamless and holds the record for the least transaction failures.
- 👉🏽 Google Pay
Google Pay is an instant payment app designed by Google. It also allows users to create a unique UPI ID, through which they can make instant transfers of money. Google Pay has a slew of offers and promotions to make payments fun and rewarding!
Google Pay sometimes takes time to process UPI payments but this is rare. Even in cases where the transaction fails, the money is immediately sent back to the originating account.
- 👉🏽 PhonePe
PhonePe is a digital wallet platform created on the same concept of instant fund transfers using UPI. PhonePe allows customers to make lightning-fast transfers with a few clicks, using their UPI ID. PhonePe has also started being accepted by many betting sites as an e-wallet.
PhonePe is perhaps the most widely used UPI app among the Indian masses.
- 👉🏽 BHIM UPI
BHIM stands for Bharat Interface for Money and was created by the National Payments Corporation of India to allow UPI payments. With BHIM, you can make a simple and efficient transfer of funds using your UPI ID!
The BHIM app comes from the same people who developed UPI and therefore works very smoothly and seamlessly to make UPI transfers. But, the interface is slightly lacking in ease of use and convenience.
The biggest plus points are that BHIM app is accessible in more than 20 regional languages and even works in very remote areas of our country.
- 👉🏽 Mobikwik
Mobikwik is another popular UPI app used primarily in the urban areas of our country. It offers regular cashbacks and payback points with every bill payment or recharge (which can be redeemed for future use).
Mobikwik also has superfast UPI payments with low failure rate.
- 👉🏽 More UPI Apps
Almost every bank these days offers UPI payments on their mobile apps. Examples include, SBI Pay, Pockets by ICICI bank, TruPay by Yes Bank, KayPay by Kotak Mahindra, etc.
Apart from these bank apps, there are other UPI apps to use - Samsung Pay, Amazon Pay, Whatsapp Pay.
How to deposit with UPI
Now that you know which UPI based app to download and use, we can move on to learning about how you can actually transfer money using UPI! Knowing the various ways of transferring money will help you when you're starting to use your favorite betting sites that accept UPI!
Generally, UPI betting sites allow you to send money in two ways: directly to their bank account or to their VPA or UPI ID. Both methods are very simple to use, and we'll cover both the methods in detail below.
There are two additional methods of sending money through UPI. These two additional methods are not always used by UPI betting sites, but we will explain them just in case they become available in the future!
There are four ways in which you can transfer money using UPI. In this section, we will explore all those ways and even give you some additional information about UPI transfers!
(Keep in mind that these methods are available to use no matter which UPI-enabled app you are using!)
How to transfer money with UPI
- 1. Transfer using Bank Account Details
One simple way of transferring money is to input the receiver's bank account details. The required information includes the bank account holder's name, account number, IFSC code, as well as the amount you wish to transfer.
Once all the details are stored, you can simply transfer the money without having to input the information, again and again, every time!
- 2. Transfer using VPA
The VPA or Virtual Payment Address is a unique UPI ID that is created for each user, no matter which UPI app they are using. This unique ID can be used to request money from someone or send money to someone.
Enter the receiver's VPA or UPI ID and simply enter the amount of money you need to transfer. Click on Send and you're done!
- 3. Transfer using Mobile Number
This method only works when transferring money to a UPI user who has registered their mobile number with their UPI ID. Inputting this registered phone number will allow you to transfer the money to that specific UPI ID.
You can enter the registered mobile number and transfer money in just a few simple clicks!
- 4. Transfer using QR Code
This method of transferring money with UPI requires you to use your UPI app and scan the receiver's unique QR Code. Once the QR Code has been scanned, you can send any amount of money to the receiver.
Simply enter the amount you wish to transfer and click on Send. The receiver will get the amount within seconds!
Few Things to Know About UPI Transfers
Here are a few things to remember when using UPI:
- UPI is used to directly transfer between the sender and receiver's bank accounts. You cannot send money to a wallet using UPI.
- The upper limit per UPI transaction is Rs 1 lakh per account per day (24-hour rolling period).
- However, the upper transaction limit may also differ according to banks, so it's best to check with your bank.
- You can register more than one bank account for your UPI ID.
- There are no additional fees charged for transferring money using UPI.
- UPI transfers take seconds to be credited!
UPI Troubleshoot Guide for Betting Sites
This means that you have reached the UPI transfer limit for 24 hours, which is INR 1 lakh. Suppose you want to deposit 50,000 on a betting site, but you have paid rent and utility bills through UPI earlier that day for INR 70,000, then you will get this "limit reached" error.
Try to deposit a smaller amount or try again the next day.
This is most likely because there is a deposit limit on UPI payments on most betting sites. The deposit limit can range from 25,000 INR to 1 lakh. So make sure you check your betting site's UPI deposit limit first before trying to make a payment.
Some betting sites generate an alphanumeric code (5-6 characters long) when you make a deposit through UPI. You have to put this code in the transaction comment while making your deposit otherwise the betting site will not be able to associate the deposited money with your account.
When this happens (if you sent money without the code), you have to contact customer support of the betting site.
There could also be another reason why your deposited amount hasn't been added to your betting site wallet even after 24 hours. Please contact the betting site's customer support for assistance.
Only some betting sites allow UPI withdrawals, which are almost instant. Most sites would let you withdraw money through an IMPS or NEFT bank transfer, which you may use in place of UPI.
While the money ultimately goes to your bank account in all three methods, the process of withdrawal is different - you have to enter bank account details in IMPS or NEFT and only a UPI ID in UPI transfers.
But the withdrawal destination remains the same.
